At promptly 11:49 am today, (May 13) two F-15Cs from the Florida National Guard, 125th Fighter Wing, flew over South Lake Hospital as a salute to healthcare workers and first responders who have been on the forefront of the fight against COVID-19.
People flocked from all over south Lake to catch a glimpse of the F-15Cs. If you blinked twice you may not have seen the approaching jets but you couldn’t miss the sound of thunder.

Residents were asked to watch the flyover from the safety of their homes or worksites but many couldn’t resist parking close to the hospital to witness the amazing sight.
