James Henry Hanks, age 75, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020. Since 1955, Jim and his family have served customers at Hanks Electric on Montrose Street in Downtown Clermont.
His family describes him as a man that loved the Lord and shared the love of Jesus Christ with everyone he encountered in his walk on this earth. He let his life be a testament to us of how we should live from this day forward.
Jim Hanks is survived by his wife of 50 years, 5 children, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 806 W. Minneola Ave., Clermont, on Wednesday, June 24 from 5 pm – 7 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 25 at noon at the First Baptist Church of Groveland, 137 E. Cherry St., Groveland.
