Hwy 50

Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza, located at 1754 E. Hwy 50 (formally Chrispers). The Grand Opening date will take place (AUGUST 3)

Fifty West – A prestigiousClass A, glass-enclosed office and retail space on Hwy 50, is close to completion. You can’t miss it as you head west on Hwy 50, Clermont.

AJI Sushi Teppan is coming to Clermont. It will be located on the northeast corner of State Road 50 and Hancock.

Ellie Lou’s Brew and BBQ will be opening its second brew and BBQ location at 1391 Citrus Tower Blvd, (the building formally First Green Bank).

Two additional car dealerships coming to Hwy 50, Clermont.

Kia will be located between Honda and Mazda on the south side of SR 50.

Car Max will be on CR455 (directly off SR 50 behind the shopping center) heading to Montverde.

Advent Health Emergency Facility – The 11-acres site will become a Medical Health Park Campus with 2 buildings, an emergency center and a medical office building. The site is located by the intersection of State Road 50 and Citrus Tower Blvd.  (Learn more at Advent Health)

Ambition Nutrition (next to Epic Theater) 2409 Us-27 N, Clermont. Just opened.

Closing:  Staples Office Supplies

HWY 27

9Round Fitness, located at 4300 S. Hwy 27 Unit 105, Clermont,  a specialized fitness center that brings kickboxing fitness training to the average person in a convenient, affordable, 30 minute, full-body circuit format with No Class Times and Trainer is Always Included. The First Workout is Free!

Dunkin Donuts, a VA Clinic and a Physician’s office are planned on the site directly across from RaceTrac on Citrus Tower Blvd (south) and Hwy 27. The dirt has been moving.

Action Gator Tire – the building, which is now under construction, will be located on the NW corner of Hammock Ridge Rd and 27 (across from Chick Fil A)

Fazoli, an Italian eatery, will build on the site located on HWY 27, next to WaWa.

Starbucks is now open. The building is located at 4299 S Hwy 27 (on property near San Jose’s Restaurant/King’s Ridge Publix Shopping Center)

 


Downtown Clermont (lots of changes)

Downtown Streetscapes: If you haven’t visited downtown Clermont recently, you are in for a surprise. Pavers have been placed on Osceola Street between 7th West Avenue. It looks beautiful!

 

 

Art Walk – Construction is rapidly moving along on the Clermont Art Walk, a 2-block pedestrian walkway in the downtown area from Montrose Street to Osceola Avenue as

well as a one-story, 4,800-square-foot building at the south end of the walkway that will house artwork, retail and restaurants. The vision is to bring a number of artisan vendors to set up tents on either side of the open-air portion of the Art Walk. The focus is on creating a festive brick walkway connecting downtown streets.

Downtown Exchange, located at 639 8th Street, houses a variety of spaces where vendors have the opportunity to showcase and sell products and provide services.

Sweet Cups Chef – selling and handcrafting its Sweet Cups, an 8-ounce wide mouth mason jar filled with a velvety smooth and creamy cheesecake.

ZiZi’s Gourmet is bringing produce, bread, sausages, meatballs, and sauce to the Exchange.

Curl Up & Dye Hair Salon – a full-service hair salon opened daily and offering an exclusive pamper day to the special needs and chronic illness community on Mondays.

Teamont Boba of Clermont offers authentic fresh tea and fresh toppings, including cooked tapioca pearls. Boba tea is a Taiwanese tea-based drink. The boba is made from tapioca and the drink is made from a tea base mixed with non-dairy creamer and flavoring.
Exchange Carriage & Key Antiques – specializes in quality condition antiques and collectibles such as Circa 1920s-80’s functioning typewriters, film projectors.

 

Rendering – Montrose Market

Montrose Market –  Located at 753 West Montrose St., on the corner of Montrose and 8th Street, will house a variety of vendors, all located in one building.

Parlour #3 Salon & Grooming (formerly Livi & Tate) is now open and offering grooming services for gals and guys.
Downtown Farmers Market is open every Sunday between 9 am and 1 pm.
McKinley Rae, a chic clothing boutique, located on Montrose, has closed.
Corelli’s Dolceria Italian, a sweets and treats shop is moving across the street to its primary location, Corelli’s Italian Pantry 732 W. Montrose St., Clermont

MONTVERDE

Orange Blossom Candies & Cream just opened at 16937 Lakeside Drive, Montverde.


 

MINNEOLA

Taco Bell Mexican Restaurant is newly built and has opened next to RaceTrac on SR 27 in Minneola.

approximately 1,850 acres and a variety of uses occupying all four quadrants of the Florida Turnpike Interchange and Hancock Road. The “Hills” will include a mix of offices, shopping and residences.  A Town Center will serve as a focal point for the community and the surrounding area with a system of pedestrian and bicycle paths and trails. The Hills of Minneola will bring new residences, retail, office and commercial use, as well as a new school. Publix is one of the stores planned to come to the Hills of Minneola.

Bourbon Distillery, Restaurant and Shops

Heritage Distilling Co., an award-winning craft distillery, will locate on a 5.9 (+/-) acre-parcel, located at the corner of State Road 50 and 12th Street, Clermont. (In the Planning stages)


Groveland

Groveland BIG PROJECTS are Making Progress

Groveland Public Safety Complex

The city of Groveland is in the process of building its Public Safety Complex on State Road 50 near Tractor Supply in Groveland. The 2-story facility will house both the Groveland Police and Fire departments.

Kroger-Ocado Site – The total completion of the facility is targeted for 2022. It will house over 30,00 square feet of office space and will contain a warehouse of over 330,000 square feet. Kroger-Ocado will serve as an “advanced robotics” customer fulfillment center that will also provide high-wage jobs to its employees. Customers will have the option to order fresh groceries online and have them delivered at their convenience. (worth the wait)
