Lincoln Park Rams of South Lake, is a motorcycle club, formed in 2015 by four former students of the Lincoln Park School, whose mascot was the Ram. Several members of the motorcycle club are alumni of Lincoln Park School. Some still reside in the Lincoln Park area.

The group is holding a STAR Manual Ride on Saturday, July 11. The STAR is an acronym for STOP, THINK, ACT & RESPOND. The purpose of the event is to improve the relationship between citizens and Police. Basic information will be distributed on dealing with police encounters.  An opportunity to have in-depth training will follow on a later date

The event will start in Stuckey and move to Mascotte, Groveland, and end in Clermont. Participants are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing. 100+ people are expected at each stop.

Schedule

9:00 am – Mt. Olive M.B. Church, Stuckey

10:15 am – Mascotte Civic Center, Mascotte

11:15 am –  Elese Tomlin Community Center, Groveland

12:15 pm  – Wootson Temple COGIC, Clermont

Police Officers will be attending at the Mascotte, Groveland, and Clermont locations

This is a FREE event and open to the public. Refreshments will be served at each location
