Personally, I like white wines but would never turn down nor resist a glass of merlot, pinot noir, Bordeaux, cabernet sauvignon, or shiraz. And though it may not be socially correct, I place a handful of frozen seedless grapes into the wine glass before the pour. The grapes chill the wine and are great to eat. I hope I haven’t upset any wine Connoisseurs.
Why Drink Red Wine: Research suggests that drinking an occasional glass of red wine is good for you. It provides antioxidants, may promote longevity, and can help protect against heart disease and harmful inflammation.
Recycle the corks: Save the wine corks and DIY. Make trivets, Lazy Susans, coasters, wreaths and lots more.
