From The Suncreek Brewery Team!
We’re happy to announce that our taproom and patio have reopened for onsite consumption as of today Sept 1st at 12PM because hey – we’re a restaurant now and that took a minute. As you may have noticed at other reopened establishments, there are a few additional steps we are taking to keep you and our staff as safe as possible.
These are stressful times and we take this opportunity to reopen VERY SERIOUSLY … we ask that you follow the rules as best you can while directing any outward rage towards the universe and NOT our staff. As we’ve said before, we hate this new normal as much as you do. Probably more.
MASKS –> Lake County does not have a mask ordinance but we ask that you wear one anyway while standing in line for a beer, walking through the taproom to the bathroom, or to the restaurants. While masks MAY not be the cure-all for this suck we currently find ourselves in, they MAY help prevent the spread. Masks MAY not prevent YOU from getting infected but they MIGHT stop YOU from infecting others. We will take a “MIGHT” over NOTHING at this point. REALLY hate masks? Who doesn’t ?!? We ask that you play along just the same and take one for the team — help keep us open. You have one job! It’s only a mask and it’s not like we’re asking you to defend Pearl Harbor from a German sneak attack #Belushi – we’re sure all you Clermont Champions can handle it. ?
CAPACITY –> Our taproom is limited to 50% of seating capacity which is actually well under the buildings 50% total permitted capacity. If you can’t find a seat, please come back at a different time as we are not permitted to have people standing and drinking. Consider taking your plastic cup and walking along the awesome trail spur we have in front of the brewery. Clermont is building a beautiful downtown for us all, take a short walk with your beer ( ask about our open container ordinance! ) and explore while you wait for a seat.
TABLES –> DO NOT MOVE THE TABLES.
HYGIENE –> Our bathrooms and high touch point areas will be wiped down hourly but PLEASE WASH/SANITIZE YOUR HANDS at every opportunity.
SAFETY –> Our patio, taproom, and brewery are sanitized each week. Thanks to Germ Busters 911 for their excellent service. This is in addition to the cleaning we usually do. Brewers are glorified janitors after all.
TABLES !!! —> DO NOT MOVE THEM! UNDERSTAND?
ENTERTAINMENT/TRIVIA –> To keep from exceeding capacity, we will not have any live entertainment or trivia for the time being. We will evaluate bi-weekly as the state issues additional guidance. This breaks our heart as we truly appreciate all the artists that regularly perform at Suncreek but our priority is safety and we feel it would be irresponsible to encourage crowds for an extended period of time. We’ll have them back as soon as we feel it is safe to do so.
RESPECT –> Finally, if this is all too much for you, we look forward to welcoming you back when the world resets. You’ll still be able to take advantage of our online ordering, curbside/walk-up window for to-go beer, and expanded outdoor seating – whatever makes you feel more comfortable. No business can be 100% perfect in enforcing social distancing, masks, and seating rules. We will certainly try while still occasionally failing. We’re brewers — not conflict de-escalation professionals — so we’re asking for your support and grace as we attempt to mitigate the risk for everyone with the understanding that some people just won’t play along. It would make it SO much easier if you would play along.
Pretty please?
