Our loading crews have adapted to our “new normal” despite the pandemic. Without their dedication and commitment, these trees would not be loaded on our trucks and on their way to new happy homes.

Groveland – For over 40 years, IMG Enterprises has proven to be resilient through diversification, leadership, and the ability to welcome change and innovation. Rising 11 spots and ranking 27th in the Orlando Business Journal’s Top 100 Privately Owned Companies of 2020, this recognition joins the list of IMG Enterprises’s many notable wins, including Top 16th Employer in Lake County 2020 and 45th place in the 2020 Fast 50 (Orlando Business Journal), recipient of the SMART Award 2019 (AGC Orlando), and Community Service Judges Choice Award 2019 (Lake County Chamber Alliance).

Farm staff continue to keep the trees beautiful while maintaining the company’s new safety protocols around COVID-19 which include the use of face masks when social distancing is not possible.

IMG Enterprises, the holding company for IMG Citrus and Cherrylake, is a Florida owned and operated family enterprise with business in citrus, ornamental tree nursery, real estate, mitigation banking, and landscape construction and maintenance. Their success depends on more than having better trees, better landscapes, better fruit, or better services; it’s about caring more and contributing more to the industry and local communities. It is people who make up IMG Enterprises’ organization and culture.

Chloe Gentry, Director of Organizational Development

IMG Enterprises believes that its companies will thrive because of the determination of their 498 employees and the strength of their company culture. “Through crisis comes opportunity,” says Director of Organizational Development Chloe Gentry, “and we are so encouraged to see how well each of our operational teams are adapting to the current paradigm of change, finding new opportunities from strategic selling and future growth, to adopting new technologies for telecommuting.” What’s the secret to this steady growth over the years? Chloe says it’s “remaining focused on our purpose and vision, while retaining our confidence in our organization’s resilience and ability to overcome adversity and thrive.”

Socially distant but together in spirit, this year’s State of the Company was hosted virtually from the founders’ living room with their grandchildren attending for the first time. Keeping the collaboration and community aspect of IMG Enterprises’s operation is essential to keeping a happy company culture.

No stranger to crisis, IMG has overcome many adversities, including citrus freezes, hurricanes, economic recessions, and of course, a new global health pandemic. The company was forced to adapt. Working remotely, implementing new virtual processes, reevaluating operations within the organization in order to amplify sales, all while keeping employee communication at the forefront was paramount in their ability to succeed.

“Once again, our diversification, resilience and dedicated teams make these short-term setbacks something we are confident we will manage through and overcome,” says Chloe, “This people-driven, future-focused mindset is what has inspired, and will continue to inspire, IMG Enterprises to keep growing for generations to come.”
