Zapp’s Rolling Stove LLC  has recently opened on the campus of Lake Sumter State College-Clermont. The family-owned and operated business is located at 1250 North Hancock Road, Clermont at the Dupee Cafe.

MEET TYRE AND BRITTANY JONES (VIDEO)

The South Lake Tablet visited Zapp’s Rolling Stove to welcome Tyre Jones and his wife Brittany to the south Lake business community and learn a little about his restaurant.

South Lake Tablet:  How did you get started in the restaurant/catering business?

Proudly displayed 2019 Best of Central Florida Awards for Zapp’s Rolling Stove Catering and Entrepreneur of the year.

Tyre: I started my business in 2013 from my front yard with one tent, one table, one fryer and a dream.

South Lake Tablet:  Described how you grew your business.

Tyre:  I would fish all week, clean the fish and sell sandwiches on the weekends. After a couple years of that we expanded our business to a food truck and now have two Café Locations. Lake Sumter State College Leesburg as well as Clermont, South Lake campus.

South Lake Tablet: Tell us about the menu choices.

Tyre: We offer a wide-variety of breakfast and lunch choices. Everything is the cafe is fresh, high  quality, never frozen, all at super affordable prices.

Breakfast choices inclued: breakfast sandwiches, Fish and Grits, Breakfast Burritos, French Toast, Cornbeef Hash and Shrimp and Grits. Lunch items include Whole Chicken wings, Fried or Grilled Boneless Catfish, Homemade Burgers, Salads, Homemade sides, Pork Sandwiches and so much more. I’m pretty sure we have something for EVERYONE.

Tyre proudly declares each of his children are entrepreneurs, all having their own businesses.

17-year-old son Tyrion operates Clean’em up Auto Detailing;
13-year-old Tyrianna sells Classy Bangles by Ty;
9-year-old Ty’reih and 7-year-old sister Ty’riell run Easy Peasy Lemon Squeey, which offers freshly squeezed strawberry, blue rasberry and pineapple lemonades.

The Jones children are Lake County School students, each pursuing their dream to become a successful entrepreneur like their father.
