The Lake County Commissioners will host the annual State of the County presentation at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10 in the County Commission Chambers of the Lake County Administration Building, located at 315 W. Main St., Tavares.
This year’s theme, “Moving Forward Together,” will highlight the County’s many 2020 achievements, including the areas of infrastructure, economic growth, public services and public safety.
“While this has been an unprecedented year, Lake County has worked hard in our response to the COVID-19 pandemic so that we could help our residents and businesses navigate these difficult times. We remain focused and committed on moving Lake County forward whatever challenges we face now or in the future,” said Commission Chairman Leslie Campione.
The State of the County program, led by Chairman Campione, will also include the induction of Paula Stegall Stinson into the Women’s Hall of Fame.
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. There will be a brief intermission before the start of the regularly scheduled County Commission meeting.
The program and regular board meeting will stream live at https://lakecountyfl.gov/boardmeeting.
