On Saturday, January 23rd a community race will be held at Waterfront Park for all ages to benefit the Boys & Girls Club, South Lake Branch.
Participants will receive finisher medals, chip timing by Sommer Sports, Henderson Bagels, Smoothie King samples and a souvenir flag from the VFW.
This event is presented by Clermont Triathlon Club, Clermont Police Department and the City of Clermont.
Clermont Police Department will be setting up a youth obstacle course.
Awards will be given to overall male and female finishers and top 3 male and female finishers in each age group, with extra awards for younger ages.
Age group winners will also receive a bonus award.
Trek Clermont has donated two $20 gift cards for the overall male and female winners.
We also have a Little Champs Fun Run — this will be a 100 yard run on a grass field for younger kids. (Not time, but they will receive a finisher’s medal)

**This event will follow all COVID-19 health guidelines which include a staggered start, sanitizing stations, face coverings before and after the race, limited touchpoints and other precautionary measures.
