Everyone is sick of COVID. The nation needs to unite to fight and end this deadly pandemic and Heal Together. We need to do our part to protect others. Wear a face mask, wash hands often, social distance, and avoid large crowds and get the vaccine.
Speaking of COVID-19 immunization
It’s nearly impossible to get the vaccine. The roll-out of the vaccine distribution has been disappointing at best. If you have attempted to make an appointment, you probably received this message.

The SOUTH LAKE TABLET editor attempted to contact Lake-DOH to find out
- Why the vaccine is being administered to people who are not residents of Florida;
- When will making a COVID-19 vaccine appointment change from a stressful to a seamless experience
- When will the vaccine become available, once again, in a south Lake County location?
No reply from LAKE-DOH yet.
NOTE: Since this article was published, a state directive was issued requiring proof of Florida residency to receive the COVID-19 vaccine).
