The American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 55 of Clermont

Everyone in need is invited to come and pick from new and gently used clothing, shoes, and miscellaneous items. Items will be available for all ages and all sizes. “The American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 55 of Clermont, is ecstatic about the opportunity to assist Ms. Mariah Wallis and Clermont Compassion this month with a clothing drive for those in need”, stated Trish Gardner Legion Post 55 Auxiliary President. “This is an opportunity for anyone who may need some extra clothes to come and pick out what they’d like,” added Mariah Wallis of Clermont Compassion.

Donations are being collected at American Legion Post 55, Rocker Realty (10 AM-4 PM Mon-Fri, 684 W. Montrose St., Clermont) or Clermont Compassion until Sunday, January 24. The clothing and other items will be sorted, organized, and prepared for give-a-way leading up to the morning of January 31st at the Legion Post.

Ms. Gardner described the event as an opportunity to help those in the community that need it most and Clermont Compassion monthly keeps finding amazing ways to assist. Ms. Gardner continued, “Our Unit is very proud of our member Mariah and her altruism and always happy to help her in these endeavors.”

Mariah invites everyone to give to and /or receive.  She expressed her gratitude saying, “Clermont Compassion has been blessed with many clothing donations from our community that has helped make this event possible. We are so excited to give back to those in need and look forward to seeing everyone there!”
