Lake Minneola
Jordon Spears from Modica & Associates recently confirmed that pollen is floating on the west side and throughout Lake Minneola.
Jordon reported on heavy cyanobacterial blooms in lakes Palatlakaha and Minnehaha. They are keeping watch on the canal leading to Minneola, and are ready to respond if needed.

On 2/11, DEP staff collected samples from Lake Minnehaha – 75 meters south of Lakeshore Drive; Lake Minnehaha –130 meters southeast of Highway 561; and Lake Sloat.
