Daniela Martinez, President of the CWC and Carol Spaldi, Chairwoman of the CWC  Education Committee
Daniela Martinez, President of the CWC and Carol Spaldi, Chairwoman of the CWC  Education Committee, have announced three $1,000.00 scholarships are being offered to a graduating female from our three local high schools – East Ridge,  Lake Minneola and South Lake.  Guidance Counselors in each school have applications available or students may download the application forms and instructions from our web site at www.clermontwomansclub.org.
The deadline to apply for the scholarships is April 15, 2021.  It is a blind decision process considering academics, extracurricular activities, school participation, an essay and because the CWC is a service organization, volunteer activities and community service is also a factor.
The Clermont Woman’s Club is a Federated woman’s club chartered in 1927.  It is a non-profit service organization and by fundraising throughout the year, they are able to support international, national and local charities.  They meet the first Tuesday of each month at 12:30 pm at their clubhouse, 655 Broome St. and 7th St., Clermont.  For information see www.clermontwomansclub.org.
