Clermont Sailing Center, located at 1050 Victory Way (City of Clermont Boathouse, 0ff West Minneola Ave on Lake Minneola)

Can we get any coverage on the Hobie Midwinters Wildcat Regatta hosted by Clermont Sailing Center. We have 38 boats from across the nation, many National Champions, competing along with 4 Teams from Clermont. Clermont Sailing Center is hosting the Wildcat regatta this weekend out of the Clermont Boathouse area. The regatta runs from March 5 to March 7 on Lake Minneola and is hosting champions from around the country. With sailors from around the country representing champions in multiple classes the competition will be fierce.
Catamarans are two hulled boats capable reaching speeds up to 20 knots as they race around a 2 lap course of buoys. At this event we have 38 teams in attendance separated into 3 fleets based on boat size and type.
Clermont Sailing Center is the host group focusing on sailing education for youth and sails every Sunday on a mix of catamarans and monohulls.

We had three fleets competing. Hobie Waves, Hobie16s, and High Performance. The High Performance fleet were the only foiling boatsSaturday and Sunday, windward/leeward course with a downwind finish, off the shore of the public dock just east of Lilly’s
