National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day will be celebrated on Saturday, March 27. The daylong outdoor shopping and dining experience is hosted by the small businesses in Downtown Winter Garden, along Plant Street. Spring weather and blooming flowers along the historic brick-lined streets is ideal for strolling and shopping for sales, spring fashions and merchandise, and enjoying seasonal menus at expansive outdoor patios.

Free Parking (always) throughout Downtown Winter Garden, including a three-level parking garage at 160 S. Boyd St.

Small businesses are a vital part of the United States economy, and the backbone of a local community. For every $100 spent at a locally owned business, $68 will remain in the local community, versus only $43 when shopping at national chains, according to Independent We Stand.

This year more than ever, small businesses need support as they strive to recover from the devastating financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

SHOP, DINE & STROLL is part of the City of Winter Garden’s Love Local campaign urging residents to support independent brick and mortar businesses, including those that are the heart of downtown Winter Garden’s small-town charm.
