Participants Will Learn How to Prepare a Résumé

 On Wed., April 7, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Goodwill Industries of Central Florida’s virtual job connection team will host a free webinar for job seekers. The latest in a series of virtual presentations, the session will focus on how to create a résumé that stands out to employers by spotlighting key transferrable skills.

According to the latest report from the Department of Economic Opportunity, there were nearly 474,000 Floridians still out of work in February. With Central Florida counties seeing among the highest unemployment rates in the state, Goodwill’s job connection services are more important than ever to the community. Employment specialists have been working virtually with job seekers to update résumés, practice interviewing and apply for openings online. Upcoming free webinars can be found on Goodwill’s website.
