Lake County will be accepting appointments for the Pfizer vaccine Saturday, April 10 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Lake Square Mall immunization site. A second dose appointment will be scheduled on-site for those receiving their first dose. Additionally, individuals who received their first dose and are due for their second dose may walk in without an appointment.

Appointments are often completed in as little as 30 minutes. To schedule an appointment, interested persons may visit the state’s Sharecare website at myvaccine.fl.gov or call the hotline at 866-201-6909 (or 833-476-1031 for TTY users). Appointments are based on vaccine availability. A helpline is also available for those who have questions at 833-540-2052.

Future same-day appointment opportunities will be available at scheduling.lakecountyfl.gov.

Vaccinations are limited to the population outlined in Section 2 of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ Executive Order 21-79. This includes all Floridians eligible to receive any COVID-19 vaccine as prescribed by the Food and Drug Administration, including those aged 16 and up who are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine.

Note that those aged 16 and 17 will need a parent or guardian to be present.
