SSAC High School Girls Beach Volleyball State Championships

Also this weekend, the Sunshine State Athletic Conference (SSAC) will welcome high school teams from around the state to compete in the SSAC High School Girls Beach Volleyball State Championships. The state championship is hosted in partnership with the Florida Region of USA Volleyball and Lake County.

“We look forward to another great high school beach volleyball state championship event this weekend at Hickory Point Beach.”, stated Steve Bishop, Executive Director & President for the Florida Region of USA Volleyball.  “This is our fourth annual event with Sunshine State Athletics and we applaud their leadership for launching high school beach volleyball in Florida back in 2017.  We’re currently only one of two states in the US with sanctioned high school beach volleyball.  The sport has grown each year and we expect this year’s championships to be the most competitive thus far.  We welcome the teams and their families to Lake County and we invite volleyball fans to come and enjoy the competition.”

“The SSAC is excited to be partnered again this year with the Florida Region of USAV for our 2021 Girls Beach Volleyball State Championships at Hickory Point Beach. This will be our fourth championship event with the Florida Region of USAV, and we couldn’t ask for better partners” stated SSAC President Stuart Weiss. “Their organization is a class act from top to bottom! Hickory Point Beach is truly a championship-caliber facility and our teams and players will truly enjoy the amazing courts over the two-day event. We appreciate Lake County’s hospitality and hope to see everyone on the beach this weekend!”
