The Kiwanis Club of Clermont has been participating in the Block Building Ministries Aktion Club shoe drive this spring and invited their club-sponsored Key Clubs to join in on the project.
East Ridge High School’s Key Club faculty advisor, Jared Frick, turned the project over to his students. Key Club student Maddison Borns wasted no time in helping out with the collection drive. Maddison collected over thirty-five pairs of shoes from family and neighbors to add to the increasing amount of shoes donated to the Aktion Club.

The Kiwanis Club of Clermont meets every Tuesday at 11:30 am at Golden Corral (1555 S. Grand Hwy., Clermont). The exception is the fourth Tuesday meeting of the month which is set aside as an evening meeting starting at 5:30 pm.
