Central Florida Dreamplex is the first location to host a Read To Sydney book box. Children’s books are free and available within book boxes situated across south Lake. Simply browse the available books and take one home to read. Return the book, trade the book with a replacement or if you really enjoy the book, keep it. It’s as easy as that.
Read to Sydney and the Kiwanis Club of Clermont continue its partnership of Lending Library books and are seeking local businesses and community events to host their “Literacy On The Move” Popup Library events. The Read to Sydney Bookmobile will be set up at a predetermined Popup Library location to provide children a place to meet and read with Toby the Therapy dog, make craft projects and take a free book home with them. Children must be accompanied by a parent or other adult guardian to participate.
Since 2011, Read to Sydney has encouraged children to read, “One tail at a time”, using therapy dogs in settings such as schools, libraries, and other community events.
Central Florida Dreamplex, the site of the first Read To Sydney book box is located at 2400 South US 27, Clermont. Dreamplex blends alternative therapy, adaptive sports, recreation activities and much more for the entire family.  To learn more, visit www.cfldreamplex.com
