The Clermont Historical Society is excited to announce the return of the People’s Choice Dessert Challenge.  But this year there is going to be an addition!  This year we will also be featuring cold, family-friendly, summer drinks.  Now it is officially the People’s Choice Dessert & Summer Drinks Challenge.  So, mark your calendars now for Saturday, August 7th  from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

As in the past, the event will be free and open to one and all.  Attendees will have the opportunity to sample treats from a variety of local vendors and then get to vote for their favorite dessert and for their favorite drink.  Talk about a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon with the kids before they are off to another school year!

While you are at the Historic Village; 490 West Avenue, Clermont; for the Challenge, you can also tour the buildings and see all the interesting displays.  There is even a scavenger hunt for the young ones with a treasure chest full of fun surprises to choose from at the end
