Join the City of Clermont and the South Lake Chamber of Commerce for the third annual celebration of all things salsa from 2-10 p.m. Sat., Sept. 18 at Waterfront Park, 330 3rd St. Admission is free for this family-friendly event
Enjoy Chihuahua races, domino competitions, a salsa-making contest, live music and a Kids Zone with plenty of fun activities. Attendees also can stroll through the food court and taste an exquisite variety of cultural dishes.
“Our annual Sips and Salsa Festival provides the city with an opportunity to celebrate Hispanic culture with an event for the whole family to enjoy,” Clermont Parks & Recreation Director Scott Davidoff said
Dance along as live Latin beats fill the park. DJ Sammy, Waldo Ivan, Awilda Hernandez and Mambo Lebron Orchestra will perform on the Main Stage; you’ll find DJ Guerrero on the Community Stage.
See why everyone enjoyed the award-winning festival, which won first place from the Florida Festivals and Events Association as the best Multi-Agency Collaborative Program.
“We are excited to once again partner with the City of Clermont on the annual Sips and Salsa event,” President and CEO of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce David Colby said. “The previous two events were a tremendous success for not only our business community but the community as a whole and we hope to continue to grow the event in the years to come.”
