Jay Mack TM1(SS) South East District Commander “United States Submarine Veterans, Inc” (USSSVI) presented plaques to CTCM(SS) Bobby Mock and EMCS(SS) Ken Brown for their dedication and support of the National Convention held at Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando Aug 30th to Sept 4th. Over 540 Submarine veterans from across the United States attended and plans are underway for the 2022 convention. Also recognized were Joy Mock & Nancy Brown, not in attendance.
The South Lake County Florida Base “Submarine Veterans” meets on the third Thursday of every month, 7 pm at Minneola City Hall.
All Qualified Submariners and their spouses/significant others are invited to attend the base MEET & GREET supper at Golden Corral, 1555 S Grand Hwy, Clermont on Wednesday, Oct 6th at 6 pm. Seating is limited. For information contact edlashbrook@gmail.com.
