Kids have a fun, safe way to celebrate Halloween this year thanks to the Clermont Police Department.

Clermont Police is hosting a Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat from 5-7 p.m. Fri., Oct. 29th in the south parking lot of the Clermont Arts and Recreation Center, 3700 S. Highway 27. Costumes are not required to participate. Please enter the Arts and Recreation Center via the US Hwy 27 entrance.

“This event provides our residents with a great opportunity to bring the family and meet your local police officers in a fun, safe way,” Chief Charles Broadway said. “We invite the youth in our community to visit us and receive a treat from one of our police officers.”

This is a drive-thru only event with multiple stops providing treats by different divisions of the Clermont Police Department.  The Clermont Fire Department along with other Law Enforcement Agencies will be taking part as well.
