Kehlor Recreation Center

The Clermont Shuffleboard Club meets Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at the Kehlor Park shuffleboard courts at 9:00 am. located at 406 W. Minneola Ave, Clermont

If you’ve played before, we encourage you to join us; if you are a new player, we will supply equipment and teach you to play!

The sport of shuffleboard is sanctioned by the Florida Senior Games and the National Senior Games Association and has a long tradition in Clermont’s oldest park near Historic Downtown Clermont. These are professional quality courts, vastly superior to any beachfront motels you may have played before. They are so dependable that even a beginner can become a sharpshooter in no time! The City of Clermont keeps them beautifully maintained…even though very few are playing on them right now.

Are you tired of sitting on your butt in the City of Champions but unable to get around like you used to? Shuffleboard offers gentle exercise, sunshine and fresh air. The courts are on the top of a hill so there’s almost always a breeze, and the benches at both ends of the court are covered. Water fountains and restrooms are nearby, and there is usually ample handicapped parking. Players of ALL AGES and abilities are welcome!

Word is, there will be a tournament this coming January when players from other communities come to compete. Tournaments had been canceled due to covid and are tentatively returning next year. Details will be announced later.
