The Clermont Downtown Partnership hosts exciting Downtown Clermont events with tasty foods, beautiful crafts and live entertainment. Hundreds of visitors will pack their Downtown Clermont streets with safe social distancing. It’s time to celebrate the year-end holidays. There is always something delicious and entertaining for everyone!

Weekly Sunday Clermont Farmer’s Markets: Farmer’s Markets are exciting and fun with over 90 specialty vendors every Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM. Farm fresh organic produce, seafood, Florida raised local beef, sweets, plants, coffees. teas, soaps, pastas, cheese, breads, crafts, artwork and seasonal gifts make this a great weekly event. Most Downtown Clermont restaurants will be open.

There will be no Farmer’s Market on Sunday, December 26. First Friday events will return starting on January 7.


Light Up Clermont:

Friday, December 3 – Downtown Clermont will offer a holiday celebration with live holiday musical entertainment, holiday shopping, food, vendors, carolers singing on Montrose Street and festive family fun. Led by Mayor Tim Murry, this “Gnome for the Holidays” event will begin the Christmas tree lighting celebration at Clermont City Hall Park starting at 5:30 continuing through 9 PM.

Saturday, December 4 starting at 10 AM throughout downtown – Bring your family to see the decorated floats. This parade will feature the Mayor, City Council and the Grand Marshal Kaylin Whitney an Olympic gold medalist from Clermont.

Saturday evening the holiday spirit will continue with two free performances of the Lessons & Carols Concert, presented by Montverde Academy at the Clermont Performing Arts Center. Showtimes are 5 and 8 PM.

December Wine Stroll:

Friday, December 17 – CDP is sponsoring new Downtown Clermont wine strolls where you can pay to taste test over 15 different wines from 6:30 to 9 PM. Registration and tickets can be picked up at Optima One Realty starting at 5:30 PM, located at 716 West Montrose, Clermont, FL 34711 or register on the CDP social media pages.

Friday, December 10  – Cookies & Cocoa: The CDP and the City of Clermont will be hosting free cookies and tasty cocoa and many of the Downtown Clermont merchants from 6 to 9 PM. This will be the perfect time to take advantage of last-minute shopping. Entertainment will be performed by local community acts, who have been gearing up to show off all their talents throughout the night at the main stage in City Hall Park. Don’t miss all of the decorated downtown merchant’s window displays.

 

The Enchanted Forest of Trees at Clermont Victory Pointe will be open daily through January 2. Enjoy the 50 trees decorated by local businesses and organizations while listening to Holiday music. Santa’s special mailbox will be there until December 21, so your children can send letters directly to the North Pole. Be sure to include your return address on your letters, so Santa can write back!
