Are you at your wit’s end trying to think of what to get to put in someone’s Christmas stocking?  Or are you still trying to think of a gift for that person who has everything?  The Clermont Historical Society may have just what you are looking for.  Pictured above are just some of the items offered for sale every weekend at the Historic Village 490 West Avenue, Clermont.

For stocking stuffers, there are two different coasters, one of slate that is sold individually and one of cork that is sold in groups of four; a key chain and a wooden train whistle that sounds exactly like an old train whistle.  For a truly unique gift consider a beautifully hand-crafter heart of pine ballpoint pen.  You can even purchase a hand-crafted case to go with it.  And there are other ideas including refrigerator magnets, a glass engraved soda/beer mug or salad forks & spoons.

The Historic Village is open every Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 PM.  While you are there shopping, why not take some time to tour the houses decorated for the holidays and to look at the beautiful Christmas Village on display in the bay window of the Depot.  Admission to tour the buildings is free however, a donation of $5.00 per person over the age of 12 is requested.

Regardless of your shopping list’s length, the Clermont Historical Society wishes you and yours the happiest & safest of Holiday Seasons!
