Each year as the holidays approach the Elf On The Shelf visits South Lake Imagine Charter and greets each student as they arrive at school. Every day during the week, students can find the elf in a different place on campus.
The Grinch snuck on campus with the plan to steal Christmas (Oh NO!) Thanks to the quick response of Clermont Police School Resource Officer Scott Tufts, the Grinch was found and placed in handcuffs.
A Happy Ending: The Grinch realized that this was the season of caring and sharing and what he planned was a very bad thing to do. His heart was filled with love and Christmas at South Lake Imagine Charter was saved!
“The students love it!” says the school’s Resource Officer, Scott Tufts. “Principal Kathleen Dial goes above and beyond to make the holiday cheer spread through the campus”.
