Each December on National Wreaths Day, Clermont honors its Hometown Heroes buried at Oak Hill Cemetery by placing Remembrance Wreaths on each Veteran’s grave.
Thanks to the efforts of Trish Gardner, WAA Coordinator with the help of The Kiwanis Club of Clermont,Clermont Battalion Sea Cadet Corps, the Boy Scouts of America, the Girl Scouts, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 55 and many others, The Wreaths Across America at Oak Hill Cemetery project was a memorable success.
