The Teamont Boba Tea

About 5-years ago, when visiting a boba tea shop for the first time, Juliana Green tried boba tea.  She not only found the tea to be uniquely delicious but, you might say, it changed her life.

She recalls thinking we need a boba tea shop in Clermont and envisioned a place where people would gather to enjoy a boba tea special treat without having to travel far. She said she dreamt of a place where friends could come together and she could serve the community.

Her husband Kevin and children Pedro, Diogo and Jade each played an important part in the planning, development and opening of the tea shop.  She recalls, “To us, the vision included more than serving amazing boba. We wanted to create a place where families and friends can come together and make memories. We also hoped to create jobs”.

In June of 2020, her dream came true.  Juliana opened Teamont Boba at the Downtown Clermont Exchange (792 W. Montrose). She reflects, “We poured our hearts into the business when planning the Teamont name, logo, top quality products, hiring, customer service training, COVID preparedness and more. Our goal was and is to serve the best boba tea possible while providing excellent service in an environment that is safe and fun”.

Since the opening of Teamont Boba, Juliana has left her career as a cardiac care nurse at South Lake Hospital. She is now pursuing her new journey as a successful business owner focused on serving the community and the Lord.

On Tuesday, 2/22/2022 Teamont Boba opened in its new downtown location. It’s the first shop to open in the totally remodeled, multi-business structure (just across the street from the Exchange), located on the corner of 8th Street and Minneola Ave. Clermont.

Juliana took special care in creating the artwork in the brightly colored and welcoming “This Must Be The Place”. She remarked, “I would like to thank Fabrício Novaes for the shared vision with our space. Fabrício is a very talented interior designer/ Brazilian Architect who helped in bringing my vision into reality”.

I sat in on a team training session and was impressed at the love, passion, and detail she puts into the training. She discusses every business detail with her team with an emphasis on service, consistency and quality of its boba tea drinks.

She notes, “We have partnered with Living Message to help with their program Find, Feed & Restore / House Homeless Children. We will offer opportunities for our customers to get involved and donate to the important cause”.

Juliana expressed her thanks to God for the opportunity to serve and the incredible community for its support.
