Picture the scene, you have everything you need for your wedding day—bride, check; groom, check; flowers, check; officiant, check; family, check.  Wait, you don’t have a venue!  Then you get a call from your officiant—come to 490 West Avenue in Clermont.  She has just found the perfect location but there is one slight problem.  The lovely new chapel she found the Clermont’s Historic Village isn’t complete.  The inside is just a shell.  Not, to worry, the Village manager and her volunteers will help you set up chairs on the lawn and you can have your ceremony under the portico!  And this is exactly what happened on February 19th to Chris and Tonia Brunk.  See the happy newlyweds celebrating being the first couple married at (not in) the Village Chapel.

The Village Chapel is almost complete now and will soon be available for small weddings, vow renewals, and similar events.

The structure was built to resemble early churches in the Clermont area and is situated with Victory Pointe as its backdrop.

If you would like to learn more about renting the Chapel, the Depot, or the grounds of the Historic Village; contact Roxanne Brown, Village manager, at 352-242-7734.
