We’re having a “Field Day” to celebrate the “Murals on the Trail” project in Minneola. Join us on Saturday, April 23 from 11 am – 4 pm for a family fun day of Olympix style games, DJ tunes, yummy food, and yes playful competition!

The Olympix event is FREE and will be held in Minneola’s Trailhead Park. Bring your blanket and chairs and enjoy an afternoon of entertaining outdoor activities for the whole family. No special equipment is needed for any of the games. The community can have fun together and exercise their muscles at the same time.

Get ready to compete in a four-legged race, tug-o-war, obstacle course including tricycle races, potato sack race, bean bag toss, hula hoop contest and much, much more. Prizes will be awarded to race winners. Yuck Skateshop will host a skateboarding contest! Contact Yuck for details.

You still have time to become part of the mural project installation by painting your handprint on the wall for a $20 donation. There will also be craft activities for both adults and kids.

You can purchase hot dogs, hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, southern side dishes, drinks and chips from Smokin’ Jacks Barbecue, and Ritters will be selling ice cream.
