Mascotte Charter School, Kiwanis of Clermont K-Kids, celebrated an end-of-school-year party on May 17 with cupcakes, Chick-fil-A gift cards and funny stories of the school year. 
 
This was the inaugural year for this K-Kids Club and they made the most of it with a community-wide Christmas toy drive, a food drive for The Neighborhood Center of South Lake and a school-wide teacher appreciation project, just to name a few. 
 
Chuck Seaver, president of the Kiwanis Club of Clermont, thanked Faculty Advisor Megan Williams for her dedication and support and a special shoutout went to students Alanna M, Alanna S, Alison, Alizee, Amiyah, Angel, Dean, Elvin, Emma C, Emma E, Hector, Jayden, Jonathan,  Layla, Luis, Manuel, Meaghan, Raju, Symorah,  Ximena, Yamile.
 
Kiwanis Kids (K-Kids) is an organization for elementary school students with a goal of helping the students discover their passion to serve, desire to lead and their ability to engage and collaborate with others to better the school and community.
