Merideth Nagel and The Legacy Legal Team hosted a South Lake Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event to celebrate the successful growth of South Lake County with the dedication of a Legacy Time Capsule. Everyone in the community was and is still invited to drop off brochures, photographs, videos, songs, memorabilia and anything you want until Wednesday, June 9 to help us best remember 2022.

Ms.Nagel explained the reason for the Time Capsule:  “I am very proud and very connected to our South Lake community. I’m so proud of all our elected officials, our city and county staff members, our schools and everyone in our community and I want to help all of us, ‘Catch the Spirit’.  We really need to take the time to remember how we got here, by celebrating our leaders, businesses, accomplishments, achievements and success stories”. “She adds, “I’m almost 54. I want to help leave a proud legacy for my community, my team, our clients, and our community! The entire South Lake community needs to remember the incredible growth we have experienced over the past 20 years.”

She continued, “We have a very large trunk ready to be sealed and safely stored in our bank vault until our Legacy Time Capsule opening ceremony in May 2042. Our very unique and caring centrist culture needs to be remembered and continued”.

Ms. Nagel grew up in Clermont and has been in the full-time practice of law for over twenty-six years, with experiences working for Florida Supreme Court Justice Barbara Pariente, a multi-national law firm, banks, business owners, developers, brokers, realtors and individual customers. Since 2005, she has focused her practice in Lake, Sumter, Orange, Seminole and Marion counties, with offices centrally located in Winter Garden, Clermont and The Villages.

She opened the doors to her business in 2005. She notes, “We truly believe that by working hard and caring about people, we can change the world one client at a time!” Merideth has dedicated her time to helping her clients while assembling a talented team of lawyers and employees dedicated to making a difference.  While the team practices in all areas of law except tax and criminal, their focus is on real estate, business law and estate planning.  Merideth adds, I am excited that the Legacy Legal Team will carry on this tradition of outstanding client service long past my retirement, which is HOPEFULLY not for decades!”
