Precision Integrative Medicine, located in Downtown Clermont, recently celebrated its first anniversary by adding a series of new wellness treatments and therapy services for the benefit of the South Lake community. Dr. Vaughan is a licensed paramedic with decades of experience in emergency departments and trauma centers, including the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. He retired as a firefighter to pursue his dream to provide holistic healthcare. His background as a coach and an athlete in baseball, football and powerlifting inspired him to pursue integrative sports medicine. He strives to help anyone who has pain on movement for athletes and non-athletes alike. He takes a holistic approach to health and wellness as he aims to be a partner in the promotion of natural healing to alleviate pain, prevent, diagnose and treat disease while preparing for surgical procedures, healing post-surgical needs and to improve your holistic health.
Born and raised on the Space Coast in Florida, Dr. Vaughan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Health Studies and a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine. He is a licensed Florida State Paramedic, a NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and a Florida State Acupuncture Physician. He has a variety of certifications including Chinese Herbal Compounding & Safety, Fascial Movement Taping, Advanced Movement Specialties, sports nutrition. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
Vaughan shares, “I am an Acupuncture Physician who specializes in integrative sports medicine. I remain focused on helping people improve their movement and mobility. I retired from the fire service to pursue a dream of blending my experiences in Western medicine with Eastern medicine to provide an integrative holistic approach to health and wellness. I enjoy working with amateur and professional athletes while providing healthcare to help them achieve their goals, maintain wellness, and to recover from injuries to perform their best. My practice is open to everyone, while my emphasis on improved movement and mobility can be a concern for anyone at any age.”
