Womans Vet Day

On June 12, 1948, the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act was signed by President Truman. It allowed women to serve as permanent, regular members of the military. To commemorate the historical moment, Michael’s Foundation is hosting a “Woman’s Veterans Day” on June 11 from 10 am – 2 pm. The event will offer FREE food, inspiring guest speakers, and yard games for kids.

The focus of the Michael’s Foundation is to support veterans and their families to restore a life of purpose, encourage empowerment and promote wellbeing through programs and services.  Michael’s Foundation offers no-cost, impactful resources to US Veterans that truly make a difference for them and their families.

Join the volunteers and members of Michael’s Foundation on Saturday, June 11 at 11105 Autumn Lane, a luscious 78-acre farm nestled on two lakes, Little Lake Nellie and Big Lake Nellie.

Call for more information at 407-917-2957 or michaels-foundation.org.
