Let me introduce myself. My name is Sunny, and I’m the newest addition to the Read To Sydney Team.

Meet Toby

Toby is my mentor and has been teaching me how to help children read, one “tail” at a time. Our companion and leader, Thom Battisto takes us to visit schools, libraries and community events.

Exciting News: Thom, Toby and I will be featured on Channel 6 News on Tuesday, June 14, at 5:30 pm. See what Read to Sydney has been up to.

Read to Sydney partners with the Kiwanis Club of Clermont. We use our Read to Sydney Bookmobile to visit businesses and community events and hosts “Literacy On The Move” Popup Library events. Our Popup Library locations provide children a place to meet and read with Toby and me, make craft projects, and take a free book home with them. Children must be accompanied by a parent or other adult guardian to participate.

The Sydney Bookmobile
Since 2011, Read to Sydney has encouraged children to read, “One tail at a time”, using therapy dogs like our Doggie Founder Sydney, and now Toby and me.

For more information and/or to schedule a Popup event date and location, contact Thom Battisto at readtosydney@aol.com, call 407-247-8595 or like Read to Sydney’s Facebook page.
