The Cooper Memorial Library will host a publishing lecture for aspiring writers and a concert as part of the Cooper Concert Series in August.

On Saturday, August 5, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., come watch a recently released blockbuster movie and enjoy free refreshments as part of the Movies @ the Library series. All movies shown in the series are rated PG-13 or below.

Author Jack Castle will host a lecture on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. in Room 108 about the process of preparing a novel as an e-book and in print for Amazon and marketing it online. The presentation will wrap with a question and answer session. Castle’s novels have been consistently ranked in the Top 100 Bestselling books on Amazon and are available worldwide in e-book, print, iTunes, Kobo, and Barnes and Noble formats.

 

On Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 108 the Cooper Concert Series continues with music by Mountain Brew. This duo specializes in Americana music – folk, bluegrass, old-timey, classic country, blues, and Cajun/zydeco.

Both events are free and generously sponsored by the Friends of the Cooper Memorial Library.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
