The Lake County Sheriff’s Project Kid Connect is a program that supports Lake County children, fosters engagement between Lake County citizens and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, and supports Lake County Sheriff’s employees and their families in times of need.
On July 30th from 9 am to 12 pm the Lake County’s Sheriff’s Department will host a Back to School Backpack Giveaway at the Sheriff’s South Lake District Office, 15855 SR 50, Clermont!.
Food and drink will be offered as well as fun activities including Rock Climbing and Dunk-a-Deputy.
Supplies will be given away while supplies last. Children must be present to receive a backpack.
