Athena Pelvic Therapy specializes in pelvic therapy treatments and is the first mobile pelvic therapy practice in the Clermont/West Orlando area. It provides private therapy in the comfort of your home. They also have a few partners in the community that provide private clinical space if preferred.
In 2012, Juanita earned her doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida. She is also a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults, Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist II and a Certified Hypnotherapist
She is originally from Eastern Kentucky where she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehead State University. After living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for several years, her husband and she decided it was time to warm up and moved to Central Florida in 2001.
Darla Ward, PT
Dara is from a small coal mining town in northeast Pennsylvania. She graduated with a degree in physical therapy from Daemen College in Amherst, NY and for the past 30-years has been a practicing physical therapist.
She describes herself as an animal lover and enjoys being outdoors. She enjoys camping, fishing, gardening and hiking. She says that pelvic therapy has been the most rewarding due to the immense impact it has to change people’s quality of life in just a short period of time.
