Clermont Lakes Dental Care celebrated its grand opening with family, friends, neighbors, famous celebrity race car drivers and local dignitaries. Ambassadors of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce officiated at the Ribbon Cutting.
While this is a new location, Dr. Samuel Wakim and his family bring many years of professional dental expertise and experience to our community.
Dr. Samuel S. Wakim, DDS, FICOI, FAGD grew up in Texas, while later living in California and Indiana with advanced professional educational opportunities taking him across the USA.
After a warm weather Orlando vacation and having spent 10 years in cold South Bend, Indiana, he and his family quickly fell in love with the Orlando area. They decided to move here. Wakim notes, “We love the Clermont and Central Florida communities! We always enjoyed discovering vital new communities. I also love small town dentistry, where you can share a big heart and compassion with your patients and your community. Clermont became a dream come true. We are a private family-oriented dental practice. We are different. We are not a corporate franchise, where you may get a dentist right out of school or with an ever-changing dental staff. My wife, children and family work here with a talented team of local dental office professionals. We are completely dedicated to personalized long-term dental care!” Dr. Azin Torkian has joined their Clermont team. She previously worked at Citrus Grove Dental Care in Clermont.
Dr. Wakim provides general and preventative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry. This includes same-day crowns, teeth cleaning, extractions, root canal, Invisalign, laser dentistry, implants, veneers, teeth whitening and dental emergency services. Wakim notes, “With CT and 3D scanners, a digital record-keeping system for each patient, we create a detailed baseline for each patient. We can quickly spot any potential dental changes and gumline needs. I will be happy to answer your questions and concerns to discuss treatment options that will help achieve your long-term dental healthcare goals.”
Dr. Wakim loves professional race cars. When he had the opportunity to help sponsor a few race car drivers and team, he jumped in. Two nationally respected race car teams were at the grand opening. Famous NASCAR and Alpha Prime race car driver Sage Karam came from Nazareth, PA as his Clermont Lakes Dental Care was set to race in Daytona the next day. He was there to make a thankful presentation, pose for photos and sign autographs.
