The preliminary plans and updates for the MAC Annex, (Minneola Athletic Complex Annex), the School Site /Minneola Hills Athletic Park, and Minneola Hills Overlook Park are ready for next steps.
The MAC Annex is being built to relieve parking overflow and also provide a new component – Pickleball. This project is an extension of the excellent relationship between the City of Minneola and LCBB (Lake County Board of County Commission) in trying to meet the recreational needs of the area.

The City of Minneola is finalizing the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) for the new school and park site locations with the developer and LCSB (Lake County School Board). This property is north of the turnpike on Hancock Road and should be complete in the next month. At that time the LCSB can move forward with the construction process for the new school.

The City will be working with the LCBB on next steps to bring these 2 new regional parks and MAC expansion to Minneola.

This process begins in late fall with a workshop to discuss preliminary site plans.
