The owners of the Showcase of Citrus recently announced the new location and reopening of The Showcase of Citrus — “Same Farm – Different Barn”.

“Well, thankfully we were able to move to property we own on the next dirt road north. Having had amazing support from family, friends, and staff, we have kept our vision positive and on the future.

We are relocating to a beautiful new open-air barn on a gorgeous private lake nestled in the orange grove, off the Highway.

The monster truck adventure will be new, the U-pick areas will be different, the farm animals will have a new home, and we are excited to greet guests at the beautiful, new, bigger, upgraded facility.

We never thought we would need to relocate this fun, crazy, quirky, & interesting family venue but the time has come. Please be patient and understanding as everything is not as ready as we would like but we will have grand opening events (yes that is plural) as different projects are completed.

We have been lucky enough to see guests from all over the world grow up and return with children of their own as we raised our family here as well. Our mission is to start over with the security of land ownership and continue to provide our family and yours generations of fun experiences connecting people with the land.

We will reopen on Thursday, October 6th. Hurricane Ian put us a bit behind schedule. Again, thank you for your support, understanding, and loyalty!”

The Showcase of Citrus is located just north of its previous location off South US Highway 27, near the entrance of Lake Louisa State Park. Look for signs to the new entrance on Frank Jerrell Rd, the dirt road which used to be the exit of the attraction.
