• Toole’s Ace Hardware has recently opened its newest location at 4425 S Highway 27, Clermont (Near the corner of Hwy 27 and Hartwood Marsh Rd). This is the family’s 12th store.  Congratulations!
  • Main Squeeze Clermont is opening at 763 W. Montrose (Downtown Clermont) on October 27. Main Squeeze will offer fresh, specialty lemonade. 
  • Nothing Bundt Cake will open in Clermont at 1670 E. Highway 50, Suite B (by Publix/Citrus Tower Blvd) within the next few weeks. The popular franchise is known for handcrafted bundt cakes made with real butter, eggs and cream cheese. The mini bundt cakes melt in your mouth (true story). Nothing Bundt Cake is now hiring and has recently become a member of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce.
  • A new Taco Bell is being built on the west corner of Hwy 27 and Hammock Ridge Rd. They are now hiring and should be open by the end of the year.

  • “Bojangles”, a Charlotte, NC-based, fast food chicken chain, submitted plans for a 2,858 -square-foot location with a drive-thru at the corner of Hwy 50 and Plaza Collina Blvd.  The restaurant will be part of the Plaza Collina Shopping Center in Clermont. 
  • CuraLeaf Dispensary – After years of neglect, the building on the corner of Hook Street and Hwy 27 is getting a facelift and will be ready to open later this year as a CuraLeaf Dispensary. Curaleaf is a leading medical and recreational marijuana dispensary in the United States.
  • COSTCO – Some things are worth waiting for. Though there have been some delays, Costco Wholesale Warehouse is coming to Clermont. It will be located on a 20-acre site located on State 50 north of Magnolia Pointe.

  • Staybridge Suites: Plans for construction, located by Chick-Fil-A, on Hwy 27 and Hammock Ridge Road, has been proposed and under consideration by the City of Clermont (follow the Staybridge Suites link indicated above for more information)
  • Chipotle Mexican Grill has submitted a site plan to the City of Minneola to build on the last remaining parcel in front of Publix at the corner of Hancock and Citrus Grove Road. 
  • Crumbl Cookes, offering specialty flavored cookies, will be opening next to KeKe’s Breakfast Cafe, on South Hwy 27, Clermont.

    • The Citrus Tower has been sold to Simchat Torah Beit Midrash (STBM). The new owner already has the property located next to The Citrus Tower at 183 N. Highway 27, Clermont. 
    •  Lilly’s on the Lake has closed.
