Cooper Memorial Library

The Cooper Memorial Library will host several programs in December including a showing of a holiday movie, two concerts, and the monthly Friends Opera Club. 

On Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., watch a holiday classic movie and enjoy free refreshments as part of the Movies@theLibrary series. All movies shown in the series are rated PG-13 or below. 

As part of the Cooper Concert Series, the Library will host two concerts in December. The first will take place on Wednesday, December 7, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 108, when the Retro Ramblers perform a Retro Christmas, singing Christmas classics from the 1940s, 50s, and 60s. 

The second concert will take place on Tuesday, December 13, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 108 when Plantation Lake Brass performs a Christmas concert. 

The Friends Opera Club will present the Nutcracker on Monday, December 19, at 1:45 p.m. in Room 108. Visitors will watch and discuss the opera as part of this educational program series. 

All events are free and generously sponsored by the Friends of the Cooper Memorial Library. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
