Claus in Clermont

Keeping the spirit of Christmas in Clermont was entwined with fun, fellowship and goodwill throughout last weekend’s Light Up Clermont events.

“Claus in Clermont”, a themed weekend of family fun, had something for everyone.

Light Up Clermont- December 2

The fun began on Friday, Dec. 2 when people gathered around the beautifully decorated tree at City Hall Park. Lots and lots of spectators awaited the official, tree-lighting ceremony. Live holiday music, the delicious aroma of foods, and glittering lights enhanced the moment.

Santa and Mrs. Claus were at the Clermont City Center for pictures. Service organizations, businesses, vendors, and food trucks lined Montrose Street. It was a wonderful evening.

CLERMONT HOMETOWN PARADE – Saturday, December 3

On Saturday, Dec. 3, the Hometown Parade began at 10 am at Waterfront Park and
traveled down W. Montrose Street. For one hour, decorated floats, holiday dancers, marching
bands and, of course, Santa Claus, traveled the course in Downtown Clermont, waving to the spectators and giving out lots of candy. It was a perfect day for a parade.
