On Saturday, if you hear sirens and see flashing lights in Clermont neighborhoods, there’s a good chance it will be the big guy himself riding on a firetruck with a police escort!

“The City has just been notified that Santa himself is taking a short break from all his holiday preparations to visit several neighborhoods in Clermont,” City Manager Brian Bulthuis said.

Clermont Police and Fire are thrilled to show him around and do the driving.
Santa will be visiting neighborhoods beginning about 11:30 a.m. at Kings Ridge off Hancock
Road. From there, he will travel through Summit Greens at about 1:30 p.m. before he makes his way to Esplande at Highland Ranch at 3 p.m. followed by a trip through Canyons at Highland Ranch at 3 p.m.

From there, Santa will head to Hartwood Reserve and should arrive there about 5 p.m. His
final stop will be back to the downtown area of Lincoln Park where he should arrive about 6
p.m.

Children and adults are encouraged to go outside and watch for Santa and give him a big
wave, as he may not be able to stop and visit and stay on schedule for his Clermont visit.

“I think Santa knows that Clermont is someplace really special and that’s why he is coming to visit us.” Bulthuis said. “The welcome mat will be out!”
