On a sunny, pleasant Monday, January 16, floats, cars, bikes, walkers and marching units paraded from McKinney Park to Clermont’s Waterfront Park keeping the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Alive.

The celebration continued after the parade at Clermont’s Waterfront Park where everyone enjoyed the food, live entertainment, fun and games.

Kassier Kyler-Murry one of the organizers of the event noted, “There were 28 vendors and two bounce houses. Everyone came out to celebrate this day in unity, which is exactly like Dr. King would have wanted it”

Christian Men in Action, dedicated to improving family quality of life, sponsored the first Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in 2012 and since has been keeping his dream alive.
