A plan that had been in place for over a year came together on Thursday, February 2, when the Realtors Association of Lake And Sumter Counties “Opened its Doors” at 1655 E. Hwy 50, Ste 301.
 
Attendees were given an opportunity to tour the new location and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and the music of Cat Ridgeway. The South Lake Chamber of Commerce officiated the ribbon cutting.

The Realtors Association of Lake And Sumter exists to unite, educate, promote and support its realty members. The association also welcomes real estate companies, brokers and agents for membership.
 
As a point of interest, the association was granted its original charter by the Lake County Real Estate Board on October 22, 1923, and has been a part of Lake County’s history ever since.
